It has truly been an honor to be considered to lead The Florida Bar. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my vision for where we can go. The best part of serving in leadership positions is the opportunity to interact with lawyers and judges who care deeply for our profession. That experience fueled my genuine passion for our profession and the desire to do all I can to leverage the great talent among Florida lawyers to make our profession even better. That is why I am running to be President-Elect of our Bar.

When you work alongside someone every day, you have the opportunity to best see that person's character. Steve Davis and I practiced law together for over 15 years. We worked on numerous business cases with one another. Steve has dedicated himself to improving the legal community, especially for women. I have personally seen him mentor new lawyers all the way to partnership and one of our former colleagues up to the point at which she joined the federal bench. Steve has been widely recognized from the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (Miami-Dade Chapter) to the American Inns of Court for developing and instituting programs to recruit, retain, and advance our women colleagues.
