I entered the church elated, my happiness soaring to its maximum ( I still can't believe I'm getting married ) as I walked towards the altar to stand besides the priest.

After a while , Lena, my bride,my love,mother of our daughter my angel walked down the aisle in her father's arm, smiling at me with lots of adoration.

She came to stand beside me and we turned to face the priest with her mouthing"I'm not sorry for what happens next"

" Not sorry for what" I mouthed back but she turned to face the priest

"I stood there still thinking about what she said

"Do you, John Smith take this woman to be your wife, to love and cherish her, be with her through thick and thin, for better for worse?" The priest voice jolted me out of my wandering thoughts

"Yes I do" I answered quickly

"Do you, Lena Copper take this man to be your husband, to love and cherish, be with him through thick and thin, for better for worse?"

"Yes I do" she replied sweetly

"Now, is there anyone who is against their marriage? Talk now or be silent forever" The priest shouted, his voice very loud and clear.

Lena faced the crowd and gave a slight nod to someone.

I turned back also to see who she signaled to.

To my greatest surprise I saw
my elder best Pal Drex raise his hands up, I looked at my wife in surprise and saw her raise her hands up.

A collective gasp came from the audience as everyone looked on to see what will happen next.

"I'm sorry, but I'm against the marriage. That woman beside you is my fiancee. Remember I told you, everything is about money" James said smiling towards Lena.

"I'm so sorry Dayton, but he's right. You don't have what it takes to make me happy and I never really loved you. The years we spent together was the worst if my life carrying that little devil of a daughter ,I never even loved her

She said climbing down the podium to James giggling all the way.

He got to her first and held her by the arm leading her outside. Just at the door, she turned and blew me a kiss before disappearing into the clouds.

I stood frozen in shock, and felt my heart pieces.
