Angela Della Valle is a U.S. citizen and a school teacher. Her husband spent months in a detention center in Louisiana, separated from his family after more than 20 years of building a life here together.

Today he’s home. And they have something to say.

There are more than 1.4 million families like theirs in America, with nowhere to turn when the system fails them.

The Dignity Act exists for families like theirs, so no one has to go through what they did.
