After leaving Miami and entering the Quapaw Tribal Reservation, Reffett encountered deputy marshals with the Quapaw Nation Marshal Service, who attempted another traffic stop.
Reffett again fled, leading marshals on a pursuit along US-69, US-69A, and E 50 Road. The pursuit ended when Reffett lost control of the motorcycle and crashed.
Following the crash, Reffett attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended by Quapaw Nation deputy marshals.
Reffett did not sustain serious injuries and was taken into custody on multiple charges. Further investigation revealed that the motorcycle had been reported stolen out of Cherokee County, Kansas.
We appreciate the assistance of the Quapaw Nation Marshal Service in bringing this incident to a conclusion.
