The Office of Management and Budget received the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award from the GFOA of the US & Canada for the 24th consecutive year. This award is granted to state and local governments whose budget documents meet rigorous professional standards and reflect guidelines established by the National Advisory Council on State and Local Budgeting and the GFOA's best practices on budgeting. To qualify for this award, 's budget documents must exhibit exceptional fiscal discipline and long-term planning to ensure that public dollars are used as efficiently as possible.

Last month, we had the pleasure of bringing the OMB family together for a department-wide staff meeting to recognize employees reaching important service milestones ranging from 10 to 35 years of service. We also celebrated our “Employees of the Quarter" highlighting individuals who exceeded expectations and exemplified OMB’s core values throughout the quarter. We also presented an “On the Spot” award to an employee that went above and beyond job requirements.
