Artist Statement: Inspiration for this piece was based on my affinity for stairs. Whenever my parents would drive past a house with multiple stories, I would exclaim "I like that house!" The main reason is due to my neighborhood all being one story houses.

The artists from our visual arts classes showed off their creative works of art that they worked on this spring session of Youth Arts in the Parks! 🎉

Our Saturday morning sessions will return this fall with classes at 6 locations throughout Miami-Dade County plus one virtual option, giving even more students the opportunity to explore the arts and make friends.

Registration for Animation Gets Real: Miami Summer Bootcamp has been extended through May 8, and a limited number of spots are still available.

This inclusive program is designed for students ages 13–22 with autism spectrum disorder and related disabilities. Participants will explore animation, filmmaking, music technology, and sound design in a structured and supportive environment led by professional teaching artists.
