The meeting opened with roll call and the approval of the agenda and previous minutes.
A critical part of the session was the Reasonable Opportunity to Be Heard, allowing board members to voice concerns and ideas.
Updates on the FIU Metropolitan Center Assessment Survey were presented, showcasing the board’s commitment to gathering data and understanding community needs.
📜 Legislative Updates and New Business: The board also discussed upcoming priorities for the 2025 Legislative Session, emphasizing the need for advocacy in shaping the future of LGBTQIA+ rights in Miami-Dade.
