Boeing Training Campus and Distribution Facility tours with Dade Delegation and Michael J. Ferro. On April 1st, 2026, NASA’s Space Launch System rocket, powered by the Boeing-built core stage, lifted off from Kennedy Space Center. We’re thrilled that Florida continues to lead.
We were joined by staff members from several offices, including Senator Ashley Moody, Senator Rick Scott, Congressman Mario Díaz-Balart, the Miami-Dade County Office of Economic Development, and Florida International University (FIU).

Dade Delegation: Range Day with Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office
On Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz invited the Miami-Dade County State Legislative Delegation to a range day at the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO) Training Center. The event offered legislators and staff the opportunity to spend time at the firing range, along with a variety of additional engaging activities hosted by the Miami-Dade Special Response Team, rated number one in the country.
On Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, we thank officers and first responders, especially our county sheriffs, municipal officers, and first responders who protect and serve our communities day in and day out.

The Miami-Dade County State Legislative Delegation (“Dade Delegation”), in collaboration with Cuban Freedom March hosted a press conference in support of the Freedom Accord, an initiative focused on advancing a democratic transition in Cuba.
The Accord outlines a comprehensive roadmap for a post-communist Cuba, structured around four phases: liberation, stabilization, reconstruction, and democratization.
