Agent Orange Awareness Day - Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund The Vietnam Veterans Memorial stands as a symbol of America's honor and recognition of the men and women who served and sacrificed their lives in the Vietnam War.

In honor of Native American Recognition Day, we welcomed World War II Navajo Code Talker Thomas Begay, who served with the 5th Marine Division in the Pacific Theater.

During the battle of Iwo Jima, he transmitted critical messages using the Navajo language to help ensure secure communications under fire. Thank you Thomas for your bravery and sacrifice to our country!
