Venezuelan American Republican Club Miami Dade

🇺🇸 This past November 11th, during the Lincoln Day Dinner of the Republican Party, the Venezuelan American Republican Club (VARC) had the great honor of receiving the Outstanding Club Award for the 2024–2025 term in East Miami-Dade County.

We proudly shared this moment with our Board of Directors, elected officials, party members, and many dear friends and collaborators who make our mission possible.

Thank you to the Republican Party of Miami-Dade for this recognition — we remain committed to working for the values that unite us as conservatives and Americans.

🇺🇸Last Thursday, September 28th, my wife Arlette Sosa and I, had the pleasure of attending the Doral Hispanic Women’s Chamber of Commerce Luncheon.
It was an excellent event that brought together inspiring community leaders, including Doral Police Chief Edwin Lopez, Councilwoman Nicole Reynoso, and Soraya Galan from Miami Dade College.

Thank you to the organizers for such a valuable and engaging gathering!



🇪🇸 El pasado jueves 28 de septiembre, mi esposa Arlette Sosa y yo, tuvimos el placer de asistir al almuerzo de la Cámara de Comercio de Mujeres Hispanas de Doral.

Fue un evento excelente que reunió a líderes comunitarios inspiradores como el jefe de la policía de Doral, Edwin Lopez, la concejal Nicole Reynoso y Soraya Galan del Miami Dade College.

Gracias a los organizadores por este encuentro tan valioso y enriquecedor.

On behalf of the Venezuelan American Republican Club Board of Directors, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Senator Rick Scott and his entire team in Washington D.C. and Miami for their invaluable support and for opening the doors of the White House to us this past August 23rd.

Our delegation included Directors Carlos Campos, Jorge Jaen, Arlette Sosa, as well as Alejandro Mejía, Juan Ramos, and Luis Martínez with their spouses, and myself, Gustavo Garagorry, President of the Club.

A special recognition goes to Mary Carmen Dávila and Daniel Hollingsworth, who, as part of Senator Scott’s staff, guided us on a wonderful tour through the Capitol — a truly unique and unforgettable experience.

🇺🇸 Today we visited the Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office, where we stood alongside Rosie Cordero, Senator Ashley Moody, and Sara Carter, the newly appointed official from President Trump’s as Director of National Drug Control Policy.

We came together to discuss a vital new bill introduced by Senator Moody, aimed at tackling the growing crisis of fentanyl abuse devastating our communities and claiming lives across the streets of America.
This initiative is about saving lives, empowering law enforcement, and ensuring accountability for those who push poison into our neighborhoods.

We are united in this fight — for our families, for our future. ❤️🇺🇸
