Marjory Stoneman Douglas Elementary is located in southwest Miami-Dade County and serves approximately 1300 students in grades pre-kindergarten to five on 3 beautiful campuses. In this dual language model, all students are taught in English 60% of the day and in Spanish the remaining 40% of the day, thus producing bilingual, bi-literate students better prepared for the world tomorrow. Marjory Stoneman Douglas Elementary also offers Gifted and a variety of Exceptional Student Education Programs.

The IXL Summer Math Challenge will run from Friday, June 6, 2025, through Sunday, July 27, 2025. Students in grades K-5 will be challenged to meet the following categories: complete the Summer Boost Skill Plan for the future grade level/mathematics course during the 2025-2026 school year; complete as many additional skills from the B.E.S.T. Standards Skill Plan for the future grade level/mathematics course during the 2025-2026 school year; and demonstrate the “Highest Skills Proficiency” with a SmartScore of 80 or Higher.
