Following our End-of-Year Mass, we had the opportunity to recognize members of Team OLLA who are celebrating milestone years of service to our school.
Their collective years of dedication reflect a deep commitment to our mission, our students and the countless Lourdes girls whose lives they have helped shape along the way. Whether in the classroom, behind the scenes or through their daily support of our community, each has played an important role in the Lourdes experience.

Congratulations to freshman Natalia Alberni and sophomores Elia de la Camara, Alexa Gonzalez and Alexandra Pargas on competing at the SRAA Scholastic National Championship Regatta this past weekend, which featured 429 entries from 149 high schools across the country.
Competing on a national stage is a testament to the dedication, discipline and perseverance these student-athletes have demonstrated throughout the season. Their hard work and commitment to the sport earned them the opportunity to represent Lourdes among some of the nation’s top scholastic rowing programs.
Congratulations to our rowers and coaches on this outstanding achievement. We are incredibly proud of our athletes for their determination, teamwork and commitment both on and off the water.

Congratulations to freshman Isabella Echeverri on earning second place in the Building Young Leaders Program with BLUE Missions, competing against 30 high school students from across Miami. Isabella was also awarded a $750 prize following her participation in the program’s recent Pitch Competition.
Her STEM concept, Helping Identify Vulnerable Ecosystems, or H.I.V.E., is an innovative network of solar-powered cameras that uses AI technology to monitor the Florida Everglades, detect invasive species and provide data that can help protect one of our state’s most fragile ecosystems.
As part of the competition, Isabella developed a working prototype to demonstrate how the system could function in real-world applications, showcasing not only creativity and innovation but also a deep commitment to environmental stewardship.
We are proud of Isabella for representing our school with such excellence, initiative and vision for the future.

Today, we celebrate the alumnae whose daughters graduated as part of the Class of 2026, a beautiful reflection of the lasting impact of our sisterhood across generations.
To return years later as a Lourdes mom while watching your daughter become a Lourdes alumna is a special full-circle moment rooted in faith, memories, tradition and love for this community.
Congratulations to these mothers and daughters on continuing a connection to Lourdes that will now carry forward into another generation.
Once a Lourdes girl, always a Lourdes girl.

On this Memorial Day, we pause to honor and pray for the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.
As a community of faith, we remember their courage, selflessness and unwavering love for others. Their sacrifice serves as a lasting reminder of the freedoms we are blessed to enjoy and the countless lives shaped by their service.
May we always carry their legacy with gratitude, live in a way that honors their memory and continue to keep them and their families in our prayers, “With Mary in all things.”
