🎂 Happy Birthday to SSgt Rodriguez-Rivera! 🎂

Today we celebrated SSgt Rodriguez-Rivera’s 29th birthday here at RSS South Dade — a Marine who truly leads by example.

Originally from Salinas, Puerto Rico, he’s served 7 years in the Marine Corps. His first MOS (career field) was Motor Transport Operator, and he’s currently transitioning to Aviation Maintenance. On top of that, he’s a Mixed Martial Arts instructor, bringing the same discipline and intensity to his Marines that he brings to the mat.

RSS SOUTHDADE took on Puerto Rico! 🇵🇷

We had an incredible opportunity to cross-train with the recruiters on the island, push ourselves through a motivating PT session, and experience the rich history and culture of Puerto Rico firsthand.

From running through historic sites to trying amazing local food, this trip was more than just training—it was about building camaraderie, expanding our knowledge, and strengthening the bond between recruiters. Grateful for the experience and the brotherhood that comes with earning the title Marine.

Our poolees at RSS South Dade pushed their limits and proved what teamwork and motivation can accomplish! From the sand to the surf, every challenge brought out their fighting spirit and built unshakable bonds.
