STUDENT VOICE SPOTLIGHT | APRIL 2026
Students across M-DCPS shared how opportunities to choose topics, projects, activities, and leadership roles help them feel more engaged, empowered, and connected to their school experience. From student ambassador programs to creative project choice and classroom discussions, students emphasized the importance of having a voice in how they learn and participate.

When students are given meaningful opportunities to contribute, lead, and express themselves, engagement and a sense of belonging grow.

We had an absolute blast this week attending the FIU After School All-Stars End of Year Showcase! 🌟 There is nothing quite like seeing the spark in our students’ eyes when they get to show off everything they’ve been working on.

From creative projects to new skills mastered, it’s clear that this year has been packed with growth, laughter, and a whole lot of “All-Star” energy. 🏆 We are so incredibly proud of the hard work our students put in! Thankful for our AMAZING community partner - !

The evening continued with an inspiring keynote from Prime Contractors, along with valuable networking opportunities with subcontractors, construction professionals, and specialty trade industries. The CPEBA team worked tirelessly to create a meaningful and beneficial event dedicated to supporting and empowering small businesses.

What an incredible night at the Local Business Fair! 🙌

Over 150 attendees came together at Hialeah-Miami Lakes High School to connect, explore opportunities, and build relationships that move business forward. 11 prime contractors were on hand to meet with local businesses, and M-DCPS district offices and community partners were accessible and engaged throughout the evening.

Yesterday, the Aventura Marketing Council’s Annual Student-Run Breakfast took over the Hilton Aventura, and these students absolutely nailed it!
