In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, students in YWCA South Florida’s Global Education program brought art and culture together through interactive face painting and acrylic painting workshops.

Students also learned about renowned Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, drawing inspiration from her work as they explored different painting techniques and discovered new ways to express their own creativity.

From John G. Dupuis and Bunche Park to Hialeah and South Miami Heights elementary schools, our young artists had the opportunity to learn, create and celebrate the richness of Hispanic heritage!
