Thank you to for the opportunity to join your meeting and spend time with so many dedicated faith and community leaders who are working every day to make Miami-Dade a better place for everyone.
We had an important conversation about some of the biggest challenges facing our community, including affordable housing and access to mental health services. These are issues that affect families across our county, and I appreciated the chance to listen, share ideas, and discuss solutions together.
I firmly believe that some of our best work happens when people come together across neighborhoods, faiths, and backgrounds to tackle challenges as one community π€

This morning we proudly raised the Pride flag in front of the Stephen P. Clark Government Center π Miami-Dade is a place where people from all walks of life should feel welcomed, valued, and free to be themselves. Pride is about celebrating love, community, and the unique contributions of our LGBTQ+ neighbors, friends, family members, and colleagues.
Wishing everyone a happy Pride Month filled with joy, acceptance, and plenty of reasons to celebrate! β€οΈπ§‘ππππ

Itβs no secret that I love shoes, especially heels π Iβve been coming to for many, many years to keep my favorite pairs looking their best, and their service, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are truly unmatched.
In a world where so much feels disposable, itβs refreshing to find a business that takes such pride in its work and helps give new life to the things we love. Weβre incredibly lucky to have not one, but two Art of Sole locations in District 5, one in Miami Beach and one in Brickell.
If you have a favorite pair of shoes, handbag, or leather item that needs a little TLC, this is the place to go ππβ¨

I was honored to attend the unveiling of BirdHouse, a beautiful new public art installation by Miami Beach native Michele Oka Doner, and to present her with a congratulatory certificate in recognition of her extraordinary contributions to the arts π¦ββ¬πͺΉ
Art in public places sparks curiosity, inspires conversation, creates a sense of place, and makes our shared spaces more vibrant and welcoming. Iβm proud that Miami Beach continues to invest in public art and support artists whose work enriches our community.
Congratulations to Michele on this wonderful addition to Bayshore Park and thank you for sharing your talent and creativity with all of us!

A few weeks ago, my office received a request asking if we could help support a District 5 student traveling with her schoolβs drama program to Edinburgh, where she will have the opportunity to perform at the largest theater festival in the world. I knew right away that I wanted to help.
Chloe, I am so proud of you for pursuing your passion and taking advantage of this incredible opportunity. Experiences like these can open doors, build confidence, and create memories that last a lifetime.
You are destined for great things, and I know you will represent our community beautifully. I canβt wait to hear all about your trip when you get back! ππ«

Thank you to the Greater Miami Jewish Federation for inviting me to speak at your board meeting about my role as County Commissioner and the importance of continuing to support and stand with the Jewish community.
As a State Representative, I was proud to help secure funding for the Holocaust Memorial and Education Center, and now as a County Commissioner, I remain deeply committed to protecting, defending, and supporting our Jewish community and helping connect organizations with the resources they need.
Thank you for all that you do to strengthen our community, preserve history, and fight antisemitism through education, advocacy, and service β‘οΈ
