WOW! We had an amazing turnout this year for our pumpkin decorating contest! Our residents and staff at The Elms at Michigan City really showed off their creativity, with 15 pumpkins competing for the title of BEST PUMPKIN!

A little taste of autumn in Memory Care!

Our residents enjoyed a delicious apple-tasting experience featuring fresh apples paired with peanut butter, a variety of applesauce flavors, and refreshing apple c***r. We also savored the last bit of the homemade apple cobbler we made yesterday!

From exploring different flavors to enjoying familiar fall favorites, it was a wonderful afternoon filled with sensory experiences, sweet treats, and seasonal memories.

Our Executive Director, Tiffany, won an Italian-themed raffle basket generously donated by The Care Team Hospice for our Walk to End Alzheimer's fundraiser, but instead of keeping it for herself, she gifted it to our Employee of the Month, Mary!

The most beautiful October day spent at Garwood Orchard!

Our Memory Care residents enjoyed a wonderful day of apple picking, fresh air, sunshine, and making sweet memories together. There’s something so special about getting outside, enjoying the beauty of fall, and sharing these little moments with one another.
