Last night, members of Middle Grove Volunteer Fire Company teamed up with one of our mutual aid partners from Providence Volunteer Fire Department for joint training focused on chimney fires.
Our crews started with hands-on evolutions practicing placement and deployment, then headed inside to review tactics, proper brush and drop-chain operation, and effective suppression techniques to safely put these fires out.
Joint drills like these keep our skills sharp and strengthen our working relationship with neighboring departments so we’re always ready to serve our community together.
Thank you to Providence Volunteer Fire Department for coming out and training with us

🚨🚨Traffic Advisory 🚨🚨
Tonight for our weekly drill we will be conducting a drill on Wilsey road.
Please use caution as fire apparatus may be in the road way with personnel working. Again this is a drill not a real emergency.

Last night for our weekly drill, Middle Grove Volunteer Fire Company was proud to team up with our mutual aid partners: Galway Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. , Providence Volunteer Fire Department, and Rock City Falls Fire Department! 🚒🤝
Our crews spent the evening reviewing each department’s specialized apparatus and equipment. By knowing exactly what tools, resources, and technical capabilities each truck brings to a scene, we ensure seamless teamwork when the alarm sounds.
Cross-training with our neighboring departments keeps our skills sharp and helps us deliver the fastest, most effective response possible for our community.
Thank you to Galway, Providence, and Rock City Falls for coming out and working alongside us! Stronger together. 💪🔥
