*Open House*

Our friends at the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference will be hosting an Open House at Village Hall on Saturday, October 24th from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM to celebrate their preservation of the Middleburgh Cliffs and to engage with residents on ways to be more involved in their mission.

The Village of Middleburgh Code Enforcement Office will be closed this week on Tuesday, October 13th, and Thursday, October 15th for continuing training. Permit applications can still be submitted through the Village Clerk’s Office and regular hours of operation will return on Tuesday, October 20th.

This Pikachu hoodie was found at William Morton Park on Baker Avenue after Oktoberfest. You may retrieve it at Village Hall which reopens on Tuesday morning at 9:00 AM.

*10K, Fall Festival, Parade, Oktoberfest*

The weather is looking beautiful for tomorrow's festivities in the Village of Middleburgh, which will include Arts & Crafts on the High School Lawn, the Timothy Murphy Parade on Main Street, and Oktoberfest on Baker Avenue.

These events are a true labor of love by our dedicated volunteers, and the Middleburgh Rotary, West Fulton Rod & Gun Club, Village of Middleburgh DPW, and the Village of Middleburgh Oktoberfest work together to make this event special for residents and visitors alike.

🍁🧺 Fall Festival Artisan Vendors: 9 AM - 3 PM on the MCS High School Lawn (food vendors will be located behind Stewart's parking lot).
🏃‍♀️🥇 West Fulton Rod & Gun Club 10K Walk/Run: 9 AM until race completion from Max V. Shaul Park to Main Street.
🚒🚜 Timothy Murphy Parade: 11 AM to 12 PM from the MCS Elementary School to Middleburgh Firehouse on Main Street and Danforth Avenue.
🍻🎸 Oktoberfest: 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM at William Morton Park on Baker Avenue.

*Village Hall Closed*

Village Hall will be closed on Monday, October 12th in observance of Columbus Day

Regular hours of operation will return on Tuesday, October 13th at 9:00 AM for all departments. In addition, the Village Department of Public Works (DPW) will pick up bagged leaves & bundled sticks on Tuesday morning.

We hope to see everyone this weekend as part of the Fall Festival festivities here in the Village of Middleburgh!

The 2026-27 Neighbors Eating Together (NET) Dinners return this Wednesday at the Nourished at Middleburgh Methodist! Dinners start at 5:00 PM and last until 6:30 PM.

*DPW Advisory: Main Street Water Line Repair*

Update (2:50 PM): The water line has been repaired and service has been restored to the residence. We want to thank our Village DPW for doing a great job and appreciate everyone's understanding as Upper Main Street was reduced to one lane of traffic for most of the day.

The Village of Middleburgh Department of Public Works (DPW) Crew is working on an emergency water line break on Upper Main Street between Gorge Road and Bevins Lane today.

We ask that you please exercise caution in the area while repairs are ongoing. Thank you.
