Our pound is near capacity. If you have the means to give one of these dogs a forever home or know someone who can please reach out. Unfortunately, most of these dogs don’t like other animals. You can reach out to the rescue at 203-560-5056 or [email protected]. To view the dogs, look at their website.

It is now July 1st! Please get your dogs registered. Enforcements will be taking place shortly.

June is Dog Licensing Month!

The 2025-2026 Dog License Year covers the period 7/1/2025 - 6/30/2026. Tags are sold commencing June 2, 2025. Licenses can be obtained online, through the mail or in person.

All new and renewal licenses require a copy of your dog's current rabies certificate from a veterinarian. Licenses for a new dog that has not been licensed in the prior year also require a copy of the spay/neutered certificate, if applicable.

If licensing via walk-in registration, be sure to bring the required documents and payment (cash, check or debit/credit) with you at the time of application. If licensing via mail-in registration, please provide a self-addressed stamped envelope, required documents and proper payment.
