The Downtown Middletown BID The Downtown Middletown Business Improvement District has been in existence since 1992. Our #1 mission is to put "feet on the street".

A BID is a special assessment district. It is funded by the property owners within the district. This mission is spelled out in a district plan that calls for programs that enhance beautification, safety, sanitation, and promotion. The Middletown BID encompasses the entire central business district of the City of Middletown. It contains over 225 property Parcells. The day to day activities are carried out by an Executive Director, Clerical Assistant, Maintenance Coordinator, and a staff of volunteers. We value feedback from the Community, but reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add or delete comments or posts, photos and videos at any time. We want to ensure our community is a positive place, so we have set in place some basic ground rules:
• No profanity
• No bullying or personal attacks on any person, staff or community member.
• Offending posts will be deleted immediately.
• No business advertising.
• Do not use the page in place of standard communication practices, please reach out to our office if you have a question or concern about our Downtown

CELEBRATING 70 YEARS OF ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE!

At a recent City of Middletown Common Council meeting, Mayor Joseph M. DeStefano, Council President J. Miguel Rodrigues, and members of the Common Council proudly recognized Fellenzer Engineering, and presented the Fellenzer Family with a plaque in celebration of their 70th Anniversary!

For seven decades, Fellenzer Engineering has demonstrated a commitment to engineering excellence, professionalism, and service, contributing to the growth and development of our community and the surrounding region.

Congratulations to the entire Fellenzer Engineering team on this remarkable milestone! Thank you for your continued investment, dedication, and contributions to our community.

We wish you many more years of continued success!

Throwing it all the way back to 1873 the post office and Middletown bank.
Two very important businesses even now in this day in age. A lot has changed in
153 years but it's still the Middletown we know and love! The fashion might be different but we're still utilizing these businesses 153 years later.

Downtown Middletown has so many fun things to do!

Start your date night with a show or a few rounds of pinball, then wander into one of our many restaurants for dinner. Afterward, head over to the bowling alley, grab a drink or dessert, and keep exploring downtown.

Everything is close enough to walk, so you can make a whole night out of it without ever having to get back in the car.

There’s something for everyone downtown. Come on down and see what you find!

Rock Fantasy is one of those places in Middletown where you can walk in just to look around and somehow end up staying for hours. You’ll find concert merchandise, CDs, DVDs, memorabilia and all kinds of unexpected throwback finds throughout the store. And then there are the pinball machines, with games inspired by everything from legendary musicians to movies. You could easily spend an afternoon playing, browsing and finding something that takes you right back.
