Back in the original Roaring Twenties, it was known as The Middletown Savings Bank. Today, we’re grateful to Liberty Bank for sponsoring our annual President’s Ball and helping us celebrate in style at the beautiful and historic Wadsworth Mansion at Long Hill Estate!

World Mental Health Day is a reminder that mental health is part of our overall well-being, and everyone deserves support without stigma.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to participate in the Rotary Club of Middletown Connecticut Annual Mental Health Fair each spring, connecting with our neighbors and sharing important resources like 2-1-1 for community support and 9-8-8 for su***de and crisis support. The Middlesex United Way team is also proud to provide mindfulness trainings for our community partners throughout the year.

We're excited to welcome back Durham Middlefield Youth and Family Services (DMYFS) as a funded partner and a recipient of our 2026-2027 Community Impact grant.

The grant will support the Community Storytelling & Empathy Initiative, bringing lived-experience stories to students through a number of school events, free community conversations, and by creating a digital archive of recorded stories. The project aims to build empathy, reduce stigma, and strengthen connections across Durham and Middlefield. 👏

We’re proud to welcome Unashamed, Inc. as a 2026-2027 Community Impact Grant recipient! 👏🏼👏🏾

Our support will help fund their Imagine Me program, which helps young women in foster care build self-worth, develop healthy coping and relationship skills, and plan for their futures.

Founded by Sana Cotten, a former foster youth and adoptee, Unashamed brings lived experience to its mission of helping young people recognize their value, purpose, and potential.

We are incredibly grateful for our friends at Middlesex United Way for stopping by with some school supply donations this afternoon! Members of the United Way's Emerging Leaders group put together a back-to-school drive, and wanted to offer some of those supplies to our hard working students here in Middletown. Thank you so much to Middlesex United Way - your generosity is so important to help cultivate the brilliance in our amazing students! 😊🍎
