This is "Robyn". She has quite the story. Her life started in TX. From there she left a kill shelter and traveled to MA for adoption. Unfortunately, she managed to escape after less than a day in the home and just started running. Her owner worked with a group in MA to try to capture her safely, but she suddenly seemed to disappear. After 11 days with no sightings, her owner saw our FB post about a loose, injured, dog. Miracle of miracles, it was "Robyn". She managed to make it about 50 miles from where she went missing. We believe she may have been struck by a car, causing an injury to her hip. With the help of CT Dog Gone Recovery Volunteer Network and many concerned citizens and neighbors, we set up feeding stations with cameras. After we finally got her eating in one place, a trap was set and wham! We got her! She was transferred to the veterinary ER for immediate treatment. Today, "Robyn" had surgery on her hip, and we are hopeful for a full recovery! Her owner has been right there for every step and wants nothing but the best for her. Please send all the positive vibes to this girl. We are so grateful for everyone that called, shared Ring videos and photos and helped to get her to safety. It truly takes a village sometimes. Thank you!!! 🥰
