In Mrs. Breth’s class, we put our kindergarten skills to work with two hands-on investigations! We practiced counting and number writing as we counted the lines on our pumpkins and we explored their textures.
We investigated candy corn by describing its properties, testing whether it would sink or float, and its texture- hard or squishy. And of course, we had to taste a little, too!
We also read Room on the Broom, learned the characters from the story, and used our cutting skills to sequence the events of the story.
We finished our day with a yummy chocolate Halloween treat! What a fun day in Kindergarten! 🎃

🧙‍♀️🧹 Miss Herbold's class practiced our writing and sequencing skills by reading "Room on the Broom"!📚✨
We brainstormed and wrote about who we would bring with us on our brooms! Then, retold the story events in the correct sequence.✏️💛
We are working hard to become stronger writers, one sentence at a time! 🎃🍂

Mrs. Glover’s kindergarten class had a bat-tastic time learning all about bats! 🦇 Students discovered that bats are mammals, they are the only mammals that can truly fly. We also learned that bats are helpful because they eat insects! 🖤

To celebrate our learning, we got creative by making our very own bats and enjoyed some delicious Oreo bat treats! What a fun and tasty way to wrap up our bat-tastic learning adventure! 🦇🍫✨
