Chief Carr is a great leader for Hawthorne!

Senator Kristin M. Corrado, Assemblyman Christopher DePhillips, and I were proud to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Joe Carr as Hawthorne’s new Chief of Police!

Hawthorne PD is in great hands under his leadership and we look forward to continuing our strong partnership with the department.

Congratulations to Chief Carr on this well deserved milestone!

Companies founded in NJ are fleeing for states with more hospitable business climates. This should be a wake-up call for Trenton! There absolutely needs to be a reduction in business taxes, and I have legislation that does just that. Trenton needs to pass my bill A2654 which will gradually lower the corporate business tax rate from 11.5% to 2.5%.
It is time to start giving businesses a reason to stay and move to NJ, rather than flee. Click the link below to read my press release for all the details.

A lively and important discussion in the Assembly Health Infrastructure Committee yesterday as advocates and families showed up in force to make their voices heard.

We heard heartfelt testimony from our most vulnerable residents demanding a higher Personal Needs Allowance for nursing home residents and cameras in common areas of group homes to ensure those with developmental disabilities aren’t abused. Two bills that I sponsor.

The turnout sent a clear message. We need to pass my bills A2691 and A2705 for greater accountability and dignity for our residents.

25 years later, and we will always gather in remembrance.

I was honored to speak yesterday at Hawthorne’s annual 9/11 ceremony. Sharing personal accounts of courage, sacrifice, loss, and unity reminds us why we must continue to tell these stories. We must ensure that future generations understand what September 11th means to our nation.

We will never forget those we lost and the heroes who answered the call.
