Lost tickets will not be honored, no outside food or drinks allowed, no strollers allowed, and ONLY 2 adults per family due to limited seating.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We recognize that, due to construction delays at the beginning of the school year, we were unable to host our traditional Meet the Teacher event. As a result, we did not have the opportunity to formally introduce our school leadership team to our Sam Houston families.

We want to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and share a little about the administrators who are dedicated to serving your children each day.

At Sam Houston Elementary, our priority is to ensure that every student feels supported, achieves academic success, and reaches their full potential. We believe that strong partnerships between our school and families are essential to student success.

Our administrative team is committed to maintaining open communication, supporting our teachers, and creating a safe, positive, and academically challenging learning environment for all students.

🍂📚 Sam Houston Trunk or Treat! 🎃🚗

Families and Staff, we’d love for you to join us for a fun-filled evening with family, friends, and our Sam Houston community!

Dress up as your favorite book character and come enjoy our Trunk or Treat with Friends from Books!

📅: October 29th | 5:30–7:30PM

📍: Back parking lot of Sam Houston near Memorial Stadium, off North N Street

Bring the whole family and enjoy an evening filled with books, costumes, candy, games, and lots of fun! 🍬🍭

🗓️ How to reserve your spot:
Keep an eye on your inbox! Your teacher or another member of our team will be reaching out to schedule you.

What to expect:
✅ We will review attendance and discipline records
✅ See how your student is performing

We encourage all parents to attend our Parent-Teacher Conferences. Meetings like these ensure that our students are on track and that we are engaged in our community!

‼️ Friendly Reminder: We will be closed on October 9 & 12 for our staff Professional Development day and Columbus Day.
