We need YOUR help! Many of you have heard of our Operation Rainbow Bridge Program. We help people that can’t afford to have their beloved (and typically suffering) pet put to rest. We also help with Cremation costs if owners would like their baby to be returned to them. We have helped hundreds of owners and their babies, but prices have gone up and we are helping people almost daily. Our program has to have funds coming in to balance the funds going out. We hate that we might have to close this program, but we are close to the end of designated funds. (A humane euthanasia and cremation package averages 425 at all local vets). If you can help….please donate. If you can’t donate, please share this post! We are looking at enough funds to get us through the end of the year right now.

We are sharing the beautiful Nala again! We hope that maybe today, this post, someone will notice her and give her the home she’s been waiting so very long for!

Meet Nala! This orange and white girl has been in foster care since may of 2024. YES, 2024 well
Over 2 years. She’s grown up in multiple Foster’s, with everyday that passes we are loosing hope for the cats right here in the Permian. We get tagged and messaged everyday asking us to take in cats but here we sit with many who have waited for home for a very long time with ZERO adoption interest.

Nala is incredibly friendly, super spunky, wants nothing more to be attached to your hip. She is absolutely a doll but she does have a sensitive stomach and needs to be kept on the same food.

The plain hard truth is we are stuck in a hard place. Nalas foster has an aging resident kitty and Nala is spunky and well she annoys her. Her being a little
Pest is stressing her foster sister out and it’s not fair as that is her home.

Nala needs a home of her own, we do not have a facility where cats can live the rest of the days. We are foster based if cats don’t get adopted what do we do then? We have networked her all over the country but the cat population crisis is real and a kitty who has to eat a specific food is super low priority when hundreds more are on the streets fighting for their lives.

It’s not as easy as move her to another foster! ALL of our fosters have long term residents like her, those cats despite our best efforts are sitting here, aging here, being over looked day after day because they are no longer 6 week old kittens and free on Facebook.

We are asking please share this sweet girl! If you are interested in meeting her please send us a message!

Let’s finally make her dreams of her own home a reality! She deserves the world and we know someone has the heart to give it to her.

We broke a record this month, taking 30 cats to get spayed/neutered and vaccinated all in one day! The costs add up quickly, but the reward of knowing these cats won’t be adding to our community’s overpopulation crisis is priceless. Can you spare a few dollars to help us pay our vet bills?

Well, apparently I am supposed to post to this Facebook place and introduce myself 🙄

Let’s see…. my name is Hissy or at least that’s what I’ve gathered since being kitten-napped. I was minding my own business outside doing big cat stuff when I wandered up to this house and found some snacks. I was delighted cause it’s hard to hunt for food and because I’m still a baby I didn’t exactly understand how to hunt. Next thing I knew a lady came out talking in a high pitched voice and I ran like the wind to get away from her. You humans are tall and scary and I just don’t like you!

I went back to the same house the next day and there was this weird cage thing and no food except inside of it! What the actual heck! So I sniffed around a bit and then decided nahh I’ll go look somewhere else. Well I couldn’t find more food so I went back and decided hey, it can’t be that bad I’m hungry so I went inside the weird box.

BAMN! Next thing I knew I was trapped and that tall human lady comes outside, covered me inside the cage and I was whisked away! She then put me inside an even bigger cage and I thought to myself that’s it I’m a goner this is how it ends! Then she gave me a bed, and a litter box, and THREE types of food? Whaaat??! Then toys appeared and this stick thing she touched me with. Well I liked all the things but the touch. Everytime she would even look at me i gave her my biggest meanest hiss to show her I’m a big mean cat! She laughed, I was offended, it’s our thing.

Well that was two weeks ago. I still hiss at her, she still laughs and then she grabs me and kisses my head. I hate it, but those chin scratches hit just right so I’ll allow it.

Yesterday she was even ruder and took me to a place called the vet. Where they violated my kitten rights! They stole my blood, injected me with some
Weird liquid and put a microchip under my skin ! Can you believe it! I was seriously just looking for food and now I’m microchipped!

Guess now I’m something called a foster which means I have unlimited food, comfy beds and you annoying humans forcing your love on me. This foster mom says we gotta raise the monies to help pay for my vetting and unlimited snacks so that’s why I am here telling you how my life was turned upside down in the flick of a tail.

If you wouldn’t mind donating a few bucks it would sure help out!

This sweet little boy found himself at an oil field company scared and hungry. The guys have been feeding him but they knew it’s not a safe place for a sweet playful kitten. One of our fosters husbands picked him up and brought him to us. We did his initial vetting (felv/fiv test, vaccs, test for intestinal parasites and treated for fleas). Today’s vet bill was $263.64.

We solely rely on donations from our wonderful supporters. If you can spare a dollar or two, we would greatly appreciate it.

Meet Grimm! He’s the sweetest little boy.

LONGEST (CAT) STAY AT THE SHELTER.

“We have a cat in our care named Sweetie Pie who lives up to her name. She has been waiting 40 days to find her forever home, but hasn't had any luck yet. She is an incredibly sweet and loving cat, but she is shy and needs a gentle hand to start trusting and open up. Due to this, she has been looked over time and time again, and she deserves nothing more than a happy loving forever HOME. She is spayed, Rabies vaccinated, and ready to find her forever family. If you're interested in Sweetie Pie, please don't hesitate to reach out. You are also more than welcome to come and meet her, she is located in one of our cat condos, CC01.”

If you would like to meet this sweet girl, please go to Midland Animal Shelter (She is NOT in our care).

We have been busy again this month, helping community members with trap/neuter/return and we are in need of another drop trap! We only have one and we have a waitlist currently of people needing to use it. A drop trap works on some of the hardest to catch cats and we can also catch multiple cats at the same time using it. A drop traps costs around $200 so we are looking to raise enough to buy at least one, or if a fabulous follower would like to purchase one for us, we have added it to our TNR wishlist. Please keep sharing!

We’ve only raised $100 of the $1350 we need to
Make this trip happen this week!

If we cannot raise funds to cover expenses we cannot continue to rescue those who need us.

🚨🚗 THE CAT TAXI IS CALLING! 🚗🚨

We have 18 very important passengers who need to hit the road next week… and unfortunately, this taxi does not run on catnip. 😂🐈

We’re raising funds to help cover the cost of transporting all these felines to one of our partner rescues for adoption! Because apparently, cats don’t understand the concept of “just take an Uber.”

🐾 Transport costs: $1,350

🐾 Cat: Ready to snuggle their new families

Every $5, $10, or $20 donation helps get these little passengers where they need to go! ❤️

💰 Please donate if you can—and SHARE if you
Cannot!

Thank you for helping us keep the wheels—and the whiskers—moving! 🐾

We have 18 cats all who need their health certificates for travel, booster vaccines, microchips and gas and hotel for our driver who makes sure our babies get top notch care on the road!
