Let's get the truth out there

This page is PROOF against the LIES that have been told or topics that have been avoided

Again... more to the story...
Yep, some of the ballots had not been received... some ballots were returned as undeliverable... some ballots were requested late so the clerk hand delivered those ballots (the resident would not have received it thru the mail in time). Not to mention the clerk has been on her own as of late since her deputy is on vacation. It'd be nice if the whole story was heard not just the part that sounds bad.

"No Drama" ... I sure hope the common sense people don't fall prey to your ill will intent.

Correction to fall Festival dates!!

We apologize for the errors on the recent Lee Township tax bills. The bills incorrectly listed last year’s Fall Festival date in one location and this years Fall Festival in another location. Some bills were also sent without a return address. We understand this may have caused confusion, and we appreciate your patience and understanding.
Please note: the correct date for the 4th Annual Lee Township Fall Festival is Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The Lee Township Hall’s address is 1485 W. Olson Rd, Midland, MI 48640.
The Lee Township Park’s address (Fall Festival) is 566 S. Nine Mile Rd, Midland, MI 48640.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you at the Fall Festival!

This needs a little more explaining. Heidi manages the Repurpose area because she chooses to. We are grateful for her interest and enthusiasm in doing so, but this is not her "job" nor her responsibility. She was notified of the violations/shutdown the same time as the rest of the board. The fire inspection was a surprise visit and even the supervisor was not informed ahead of time. As a note... there should be keys available to any board member to access any offices or rooms at the hall. There is no secrecy here, but for safety reasons all rooms should be accessible by keys confidentially placed.

Please don't think Whispering Pines is spring this venture, only allowing it. Remember... the board approved help with trash previously and that help was turned down by Whispering Pines. We are not the culprit of their misfortune nor are we responsible for their wellbeing. Whispering Pines is a business that should be tending to their residents.

We would love for the residents to come and find out the truth from the board members! Most people won't because it is not much of an interest. And several enjoy the gossip and misinformation because it is more exciting than the boring truth.

Facts please, not drama. If you believe anything on the No Drama page then you might want to seek the facts from the officials in the board. Susie Bennett is only trying to defame the board and create issues that are really not valid.
