Calling all JBW families!! Time to dig out your old games!

We’re collecting gently used games, puzzles and building toys at the Fall Festival this Saturday, October 24, from 3 to 5 PM. Everything goes straight to JBW classrooms for indoor recess!

What we’re looking for:

Board and card games (UNO, Connect 4, Guess Who, Jenga)
Puzzles, tangrams and pattern blocks
Building toys like LEGO, Magna-Tiles and K’NEX
Logic games like Rush Hour and Kanoodle
Drawing supplies, Spirograph and search-and-find books

Please make sure everything is clean, has all its pieces and is screen-free. We can’t take electronics, video games, broken sets or stuffed animals.

Look for the donation boxes at the entrance and by the class pumpkin tables. While you’re there, don’t forget to vote for your favorite class pumpkin!

Bring your games Saturday and help our Miners unplug and play!

💎 🖤 We had a great morning celebrating our Onyx House — the Gem of Strength! It’s always fun to bring our Coal Miners together and celebrate the house spirit and bring the parents in for the festivities! Our gem leaders did a great job!

A big THANK YOU to RETEX Roofing & Exteriors for sponsoring this morning’s breakfast and supporting our school community! RETEX is a locally owned, family-operated company serving the Greater Richmond area, helping homeowners with roofing, siding, windows, and gutters.
