From CCPS:

Dear families,

The Virginia Department of Education is seeking feedback from families about the information and resources needed to help students with disabilities prepare for life after high school.

You are invited to complete the VDOE Postsecondary Information-Access Survey by Nov. 13, 2026. Your perspective can help identify what is working well, where families need more support and what information would make planning for postsecondary education easier.

The survey will inform Virginia’s plan to expand the Postsecondary Education Rehabilitation Transition (PERT) Program under House Bill 996. This work includes developing online transition resources and an online dashboard with information about postsecondary education programs.

Thank you for sharing your experiences and helping improve transition resources for students and families.
