At Mid-Del Schools, we believe our students can do MORE! Through our incredible partnership with Rose State College, juniors and seniors at Carl Albert, Del City, and Midwest City High Schools have the opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school!

📈 And the results speak for themselves!
⭐ Since Fall 2015, concurrent enrollment participation has increased by more than 600%!

⭐ College credit hours enrolled have also increased by more than 600%!

💰 This fall alone, Mid-Del students have saved approximately $200,000 in college tuition and fees!

👏 Through the NEW Early Boarding Pilot Program, Rose State College is covering mandatory fees for eligible Mid-Del students during the 2026–2027 school year, providing approximately $60,000 in additional savings for our families this fall!

This exciting partnership is helping remove financial barriers, giving students a head start on college, and creating more opportunities for success after graduation!

We want to make sure our community is aware that the City of Midwest City - Government will be having a Midwest City Tornado Response Drill on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026, at 9 a.m. Please read the following social media post for more information. This is only a drill. Thank you!

Midwest City Tornado Response Drill

When: Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.
Where: City Hall (100 N. Midwest Blvd.) and all Midwest City municipal facilities
What: Tornado Response Drill

Details:
- ALL outdoor warning sirens will activate throughout Midwest City
- Midwest City offices will close during response drill, approximately :30 minutes
- Customer service and transaction activity will be paused during the drill
- Businesses and organizations throughout Midwest City are encouraged to conduct drills of their own, testing preparedness and readiness
- The drill is being conducted during regular operating hours to test public facing warning systems and internal systems that require City personnel to be present
- Having City personnel onsite will also help us test key measures that ensure our ability to stay operational during a direct tornado impact

Recently, members of the Mid-Del team had the honor of celebrating former Mid-Del administrator Kevin Hill as he was inducted into the Del City Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame!

We are proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition and Kevin’s lasting contributions to Mid-Del Schools and the Del City community.
