BOO-TIFUL BAKES: Kids Halloween Cookie Decorating!
Join us for a spooky-sweet morning of Halloween fun! Students ages 8+ will learn the basics of decorating with royal icing, including piping and flooding techniques, while creating their own BOO-tiful Halloween cookies to take home.

October 16 | 10–11:30 AM
4-H Building
$10 per student

This class is open to ALL students ages 8 and up—you do not have to be enrolled in 4-H to participate. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. Call the Extension Office at 406-874-3370 to reserve your spot!

Hey, all! As we welcome back this gorgeous fall weather, the MSU Extension Community Vitality team is bringing back something familiar with a fresh twist.

Remember Inspiration Hours, where we spotlighted small-town successes? Meet Meanwhile, in Montana...—a monthly conversation about the people, creative ideas, and projects making things happen in small towns across our state.

We’ll gather once a month from noon to 1 p.m. Think less webinar, more conversation. No registration and no need to gather a group. Just pull up a comfy chair and bring your love for small towns.

Our first story is set. The Miles City Downtown Art Walk

Join us as we visit with Kelsey Merrit, the director of the Miles City Downtown Art Walk. Since launching its first mural in 2024, she has raised more than $465,000 and helped bring murals, sculptures, and functional art to downtown Miles City. Join Meanwhile, in Montana... to hear how she’s bringing artists, property owners, and community partners together to make it happen.
