September was an active month for the Miles City Police Department, with parking enforcement making up a notable part of our activity. Our officers investigated 84 total parking violations throughout the month, helping address parking concerns and keep streets accessible and orderly.

Along with parking enforcement, officers continued responding to calls for service and addressing the needs of our community. We appreciate the continued cooperation and support of Miles City residents as we head into the fall season.

Our thoughts and prayers today are with the staff and patrons of the 600 Cafe. Officers and Miles City Firefighters responded to the cafe this morning for a serious incident. For the privacy of those involved we will not be releasing any additional details. We can assure the community that there is no public safety risk.

The Custer County Sheriff's Office with the assistance of local law enforcement agencies has safely apprehened the wanted subject.

He is curently in law enforcment custody and transported to the Custer County Detention Facility. Custer County Sheriff Kelm will issue a statement at a later date and time.

PUBLIC SAFETY ADVISORY - CUSTER COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

Residents in the Aye Addition are asked to please lock your doors and remain indoors temporarily, as there will be a high law-enforcement presence in the area.
The Custer County Sheriff's Office is currently searching for a white male, approximately 34 years old, 5'7", 170 lbs., with brown hair, blue eyes, and a neck tattoo. The individual is believed to be armed and dangerous.

If you see this individual, do not approach or attempt to make contact. Please call 911 immediately and provide your location and any information you can safely provide.

Please remain alert and follow instructions from law enforcement.

Officer Fredrickson serves our community with professionalism, dedication, and a commitment to those around her. We’re fortunate to have her as part of the Miles City Police Department and appreciate everything she brings to our team and our community.

Today, we remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders who ran toward danger while others were running to safety.

Among those we remember are 343 firefighters, 23 NYPD officers, 37 Port Authority Police officers, and countless other first responders who answered the call that day.

Nearly 3,000 lives were taken, families were changed forever, and a nation stood together.

We Remember. We Honor. We Will Never Forget.
