Our sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade ELA students recently had the opportunity to learn from those who have served our country! 🇺🇸

Local veterans visited classrooms to share their personal experiences and perspectives on military service, helping students better understand the sacrifices made by our nation's veterans and the values that make America special.

Students will use what they learned from these conversations to write essays for the VFW's annual Patriots' Pen essay contest, centered on this year's theme, "What a Veteran Taught Me About America."

Learning to hear a melody is just as important as learning to play one! 🎶

Students practiced melodic dictation by listening closely to musical patterns and using tiny erasers to map out the notes they heard. This activity helps strengthen listening skills and gives students a visual way to connect what they hear with musical notation.

We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a full-time custodian. This second-shift position offers consistent hours from 3–11:30 p.m. and eligibility for benefits. No experience is required - training can begin immediately.

Located just outside of Marysville, Fairbanks offers a supportive school environment and a strong rural community.
