If it's mid-week, it's time to delve into a good mystery! We'll be sharing some new and "new to you" titles each week. When writing (and life) partners Fred and Thea Morgan-Lane find one of their books being used as a real-life guide to murder, they must discover the culprit - but could it be the person they trust most? Twenty years - and books - after they first met and began writing together, Thea wants out of their marriage. With plans to announce the end of their book series, Fred and Thea journey to a mystery conference taking place at an Italian castle, Castellarosa, which is reminiscent of the setting of their first book, Death Takes the Castle. It seems like the ideal place to wrap up both their relationship, and their epic careers together. But a shocking death takes place after someone drinks a cocktail meant for Thea, and although most of the conference-goers attribute it to an unknown allergy, Thea isn't so sure. Could her husband's plans have turned sinister? Or could someone else at the castle have another motive? A second death reveals a disturbing pattern - one that mimics the events in their book exactly. For the November meeting of the Milford Town Library Adult Book Club we will take a journey to the fantastical realm of the book Piranesi by Susanna Clarke! Please join us.
