If you see this big feller out today be sure to wish him a HAPPY 75th BIRTHDAY!!

Happy Birthday Chief RD Adkins u/1005

Couple fun facts about Ricky Dean,

*When it comes to his family and his firemen, he dont mess around

* RD has been in the fire service going on 35 years, when his community calls he’s on the spot! Last year we had 486 calls, probably the highest number of calls our dept has had in a yearly basis, RD was on all of them but about 10.

* His first pet may or may not have been a dinosaur 😂 picture included for proof

We appreciate each and everyone of you guys that rent a shelter or campground spot off of us. It helps us to be able to maintain these properties, to be able to offer these to the community!

..Hot Conditions Expected Through Friday...

High temperatures will reach the 90s for locations below 2500
elevation this afternoon and Thursday afternoon, with heat
index values peaking at or just above 100 degrees for many
locations. The hot conditions may extend through Friday, though
this is lower confidence due to possible clouds and potential
shower and thunderstorm activity.

Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. If possible, limit
strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Those with
outdoor activities during the afternoon to early evening should
drink plenty of fluids and take frequent breaks. Stay in an air-
conditioned room as much as possible, limit time in direct
sunlight, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
