On the 25th anniversary of 9/11, the Millcreek community united for good.

Promise partnered with the Millcreek Interfaith Council to put together new mom kits for 9/11 Day of Service. Faith centers throughout the community collected items throughout the month of August, which then culminated into a day of service to assemble the kits.

These items will be donated at Promise events to families with children or who are expecting babies soon.

Are you looking to make a huge impact in your community? Consider volunteering in our child supervision program. These volunteers play and read with some of our littlest residents while their parents learn English.

There are lots of shift options, at either 1.5 hours or 3 hours Tuesday-Thursday. You can sign up weekly or for a couple of shifts a month! This program has shown immense impact for families as they gain skills in literacy! Sign up at the link in our bio!

We had so much fun welcoming youth at James E. Moss Elementary back to school this week at our Back to School Bike Rodeo. In addition to learning everything they need to know about the start of the school year, youth had the opportunity to connect with Unified Fire Authority and Unified Police Department to learn essential bicycle safety skills! We hope all students had a safe and exciting start to the school year!
