We had a great time at the Anne Arundel County Animal Services and Friends of Anne Arundel County Animals "Howl-O-Ween" Trunk or Treat event this past weekend. It was great seeing all the different costumes. We may have dropped an extra piece of candy into the basket of the Firefighter Trick or Treaters.

As a Firefighter / EMT / Paramedic one of the best parts of our jobs is being a part of a team that helps save someone’s life. Our Fire Department recognizes these team members by issuing the “Gift Of Life” Award. Recently, members of our department were awarded the Gift of Life Award for being part of a team that responded to a patient who was in cardiac arrest. Through their actions the patient’s heartbeat was restarted and was transported to a local hospital for continued care. Congratulations to our recent Gift of Life Award recipients.
