First in the state! 🔥🏆
A huge congratulations to Kellan on earning the First Responder Inspector certification, making him the very first fire service professional in the entire state to achieve this milestone!
To earn this certification through the Division of Fire Prevention and Control, Kellan completed three full days of rigorous classroom and hands-on training, passed a series of practical skill evaluations, and earned an outstanding score on the 75-question exam!
This certification bridges the gap between Operations and Fire Prevention, marking a major step forward in his professional career development.
Join us in celebrating Kellan's hard work and commitment to keeping our community safe! 🚒👏

⚡ Charge Into Fire Safety! 🚒
Our crew had a blast visiting local schools in our district this week!

Our firefighters suited up in full turnout gear so the kids could see, hear, and understand what we look and sound like in an emergency, reminding them to never hide from a firefighter! 👨‍🚒🎒

We also shared important tips on how students and their families can Charge Into Fire Safety at home by practicing escape routes, testing smoke alarms, and charging electronic devices safely. 🔋🏠🔴

September is National Preparedness Month, which gently reminds us that life’s unexpected moments can happen anywhere, at any time. This year’s theme, “Americans Stand Ready,” shines a light on the power of self-reliance, community, and looking out for one another.
Being prepared isn’t about worrying, it’s about taking simple, proactive steps to protect your loved ones and lend a hand to neighbors when it counts most. When we’re prepared and ready, we help lighten the load for emergency teams and build a stronger community together.
One of the easiest ways to get started is by building an emergency kit! Use the checklist in this post as a guide for what to pack, and check out these additional resources to help you prepare:
