A BIG "Thank You" to Mrs. Abel, the VFW TN Post 7175, and everyone involved in welcoming us home yesterday. Thank you also to our family and friends for being there for us. Seeing all of you was priceless!

Emotional Homecoming For U.S. Troops Returning To The Mid-South FAST FACTS:

The end of deployment has finally arrived - the 655 TC is coming home!

The buses will pull into Millington on Tuesday (Dec 13)

The event will be held at the VFW Post 7175, 4681 Cuba Millington Rd,
Millington, TN 38053

You want to be on Highway 51 running north/south through Millington - you
will turn West on Cuba Millington Rd - watch for the Admirality Inn as a
landmark for the corner where you turn - I will have at least a sign on the
corner - if I have enough workers, I will put a soldier on the corner with
the sign - go about a mile and the VFW is on the left - again, look for
either a soldier or a sign. If you get lost, my cell phone number is
870-514-0426

Family and Guests should arrive between 12:30 and 1:30 (pm) - I will be at
the VFW starting at noon - I will start putting out reintegration
information at 1:30 - the buses should arrive between 2 and 3

If you want to make a sign / poster / banner for your soldier, please feel
free to do that - I'm making one to welcome my son!

Once the buses arrive, there will be a short welcome home ceremony and then
you will be able to take your soldier home with you! Looking forward to

Update: 655 TC soldiers will be home soon!!! We continue to go thru the demobilization process and are scheduled to leave the MOB site on Tuesday. Information to follow as we learn more.
