Some of the lessons learned. 1. Ensure the latest 21 day menu and recipes are downloaded before leaving port and loosing internet.
2. Ensure your AHLTA access has been established.
3. Have a backup plan for getting patient charting in the system, print out and upload in HAIMES is an option.
4. Have private location for seeing patients. This was not possible on the DDG; 1 IDC and 1 office.
5. Rotate times for classes and appointments while underway. Circadian rhythm ships, the same people are on watch each day so they miss out.
6. If you go underway- take a sleeping bag as it was 55 or lower in sleeping quarters.

I have tried to add everyone that I know has a FB page and is a USN RD. We are doing lost of good things and need a place to access them at a moments notice. I know some of us don't always have access to our work e-mails and hope this mitigates that issue. Thank you for all you are doing for the fleet and our spicality.
