Go by the front desk and ask for a tag - they’ll tell you all about where your wishes will go.

Yoko Ono's Wish Tree is an ongoing, interactive, and global art installation started in 1996 that invites people to write personal wishes for peace on tags and hang them on trees. It serves as a living monument to hope, fostering connection, community, and collective action for a more peaceful world.

A Fairy friend told us about a visitor from Louisiana who regaled our garden as a must-see place in Milton.

Magic is in bloom every day in the Fairy Garden on the grounds of the Milton Library. Tucked back and facing the library, the Fairy Garden is custom-made for and by, well, fairies. You might not see them flying, enchanting, playing pranks, granting wishes, or whatever else fairies like to do. But you gotta believe. We’re fortunate that humans can visit their little village. Some bring specially decorated rocks for the fairies (or that just simply look cool); generally, if you bring such a stone, the fairies won’t mind if you bring someone else’s rock home. There have been people, too, that leave messages for loved ones who have passed so the fairies can carry them on.
