Part 3: Wrapping up our busy weekend series, PVA-WI proudly hosted an outreach table at the Walk to Defeat ALS in Madison!

We also participated in the Walk to Defeat ALS Milwaukee on October 4th. Unfortunately, our photos from that event didn’t turn out, but our support and enthusiasm were just as strong!

At PVA-WI, we recognize the devastating impact ALS has on individuals and their families. We are proud to stand alongside The ALS Association in the fight to find a cure while supporting those living with this disease today.

Together, we can raise awareness, strengthen our communities, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by ALS.

🎳 Part 2 of Our Busy Weekend!

Continuing our weekend recap, PVA-WI Board Member Scott Griffith attended AMVETS Post 911 Kansasville’s Annual 8-Pin Tap Bowling Fundraiser at Towne & Country Lanes.

It was a fantastic event that brought the community together for a great cause! Every dollar raised was split among three incredible organizations: Paralyzed Veterans of America – Wisconsin Chapter, VetsRoll, and Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to AMVETS Post 911 for organizing this wonderful fundraiser and to everyone who came out to bowl, show their support, and make a difference in the lives of our veterans.

At this weekend’s Trunk-or-Treat event, we had the pleasure of unexpectedly connecting with a representative from Access Elevator, Inc., who shared some exciting news about their Stair Lift Giveaway!

They are currently accepting applications from residents of Wisconsin and Illinois through October 29th.

If you are in need of assistance check their give away out!

A big thank-you to Access Elevator, Inc. for helping make homes safer and more accessible for those in need!

Veterans, you stepped up for our freedom. You deserve the freedom to move around your home.

Access Elevator, Inc. is proud to team up with WGN Radio once again for Lifting a Hero, continuing our tradition of giving back to those who have served. Beginning October 9, veterans who served in a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces can enter for a chance to win a custom home stairlift, expertly installed by Access.

We’re honored to help make everyday life more accessible and support greater independence in the place that means so much: home.

A Busy and Rewarding Weekend for PVA-WI!

This past weekend was packed with wonderful experiences, so we’re sharing the highlights in a special three-day series!

🎃 Day 1: Trunk-or-Treat at the Waukesha County Expo Center!

On Saturday, PVA-WI President Todd Drazy, his wife Karen, Executive Director Matt, and everyone’s favorite pig, Christine 🐷, joined the community for a fun-filled Trunk-or-Treat event!

Trunk-or-Treat events provide families with a safe, welcoming environment to celebrate Halloween while bringing together local citizens, businesses, organizations, and community members.

At PVA-WI, we believe strong communities are built through connections, and we were honored to be part of such a wonderful event!

A huge thank-you to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who attended. And a special shout-out to everyone who gave Christine back scratches and belly rubs!

Stay tuned for Day 2!
