✨ A Special SOHE Community Testimony! ✨

Our loved staff member, parent, and dedicated PTO member, April Figueroa, recently shared some of her testimony about her experience at Seeds of Health Elementary!

April has been such an active and important part of our SOHE community. From serving on PTO to being a valued member of our food service team, she brings kindness, positivity, and a smile to everything she does!

Every day, April has the opportunity to connect with our students, serve them, and help make their school experience a little brighter. We are so grateful for the heart and dedication she brings to our school community!

💙 So Many Smiling Faces at SOHE! 💙

All around our building, we’re so happy to see so many smiling faces, busy classrooms, and students hard at work!

We’re officially halfway through the month, and we’re excited to see all the growth, progress, activities, and projects our students have been working so hard on!

There’s always something exciting happening at SOHE, and we love seeing our scholars learn, create, collaborate, and grow each day.

We’re also always looking for parents, guardians, and family members who are interested in volunteering and being part of our school community!

Want to help? Ask your child’s teacher how you can volunteer, lend a hand, or chaperone this school year. Your time and involvement make a difference!

We are so grateful for our SOHE community and all the people who help make our school such a special place!

✨ Learning Is Magic at SOHE! ✨

We’re so excited to partner with JCC Rainbow Camp again this year! Year after year, our students have enjoyed attending Rainbow Camp for day camps and overnight experiences, and this year, we’re bringing the fun and learning right to SOHE!

JCC Rainbow Camp recently visited our school to host a Learning Magic Show for our K4 and K5 scholars! The students had a wonderful time participating in an engaging experience that combined fun, curiosity, and learning.

And the excitement doesn’t stop there! Rainbow Camp will be visiting SOHE once a month to lead engaging activities connected to the topics our students are learning in the classroom.

We’re grateful for this partnership and can’t wait to see the creativity, discovery, and magical moments that the rest of the year will bring!

💚🧠 Your Mental Health Matters. 🧠💚

On October 10th, the world recognizes World Mental Health Day, a reminder of the importance of caring for our mental and emotional well-being—not only for our children, but for the adults who support, guide, and lead by example every day.

At SOHE, we’ll be having conversations about mental health and making resources available to help our students feel supported, informed, and empowered.

Some of the resources available will include:
✨ Inspirational stickers
🧠 Sensory stickers
🎨 Mindful coloring pages
📄 Information sheets about common mental health concerns, including anxiety and depression, geared toward preteens and teens
📝 Infographics, journal sheets, and other helpful resources

Taking care of yourself is important. Make time to pause, check in with yourself, talk to someone you trust, and remember that asking for support is a strength.

Your feelings matter.
Your well-being matters.
You matter.
