"We're proud to award this grant in partnership with the NFL Foundation and LISC to support Fox Valley Pop Warner Football, Inc.," said Packers President and CEO Ed Policy about the recent Challenger Field dedication in Appleton, WI.

"This grant will help the Challenger Accessible Football Field continue improving its accessible space, allowing more people to engage in the game we all love. Football teaches vital life skills like teamwork, integrity and overcoming adversity, and we're honored to help fund these field enhancements to build a welcoming space for athletes for years to come."

Director of Programs and Partnerships, Sakuri Fears, had the chance to celebrate this great opportunity on a sunny day in September. The NFL Grassroots Program is a partnership of the National Football League and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, administered in Wisconsin by LISC Milwaukee. Will we have more reasons to cheer in 2027??

*******The Grassroots Field Grant Program is now open, and LISC + the NFL Foundation are offering grants of up to $250,000 to help communities build or revitalize football fields that keep youth active, supported, and inspired. Building Connections. Creating Opportunity. Shaping the Future of Commercial Real Estate.
What an incredible evening celebrating the launch of our ACRE 2026-2027 Cohort!

The room was filled with aspiring commercial real estate professionals, accomplished alumni, dedicated industry partners, employers, mentors, instructors, and community leaders who share a common goal: creating greater access, opportunity, and representation within the industry.

Moments like these remind us that ACRE is more than a program. It's a community, a network, and a catalyst for growth. Watching cohort members connect with industry leaders and fellow professionals was a powerful reminder of the impact this program continues to have across Wisconsin and beyond.

A heartfelt thank you to our sponsors, partners, alumni, and supporters who continue to invest in the next generation of commercial real estate leaders. Your commitment helps open doors, build careers, and strengthen our industry for years to come.

To our newest cohort: Welcome to the ACRE family! We are excited to support your journey and look forward to all you will accomplish during the 2026-2027 program year.

The future of commercial real estate is bright, and it was on full display last night. ✨

We're grateful for State Farm's support which has been pivotal to sustaining our housing and economic development work with local partners. Brew City Match Partners, the Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce, Historic King Drive Bid, and VIA Community Development Corporation, deployed a blend of Brew City Match loan capital and State Farm-funded grant support to eligible corridor projects in three of the six Brew City Match target corridors. The Brew City Match Corridor Growth Opportunity program catalyzes commercial revitalization within eligible corridors by combining:

💠$250,000 in loan capital through the Hmong Chamber, utilizing Brew City Match Funds.
💠Up to $10,000 in matching grants per project through LISC Milwaukee and State Farm.

Additionally, in 2026, State Farm's investment powered the ongoing work of the Reclaiming Our Neighborhoods (RON) Coalition initiative. State Farm provided the investment that funds the Regird Parcel Data App. RON Coalition neighborhood partners use the app to conduct housing condition surveys in targeted Milwaukee neighborhoods and train local residents, strengthening community engagement and data-driven decision-making.

LISC is celebrating 26 years of impactful partnership with State Farm!

Together, we’ve worked to transform communities across the country by connecting people with the opportunities they need to thrive. Over the last nearly three decades, this collaboration has helped:

🏠 Build and preserve over 91K affordable homes
💼 Support 11,800 local businesses
🏗️ Develop 27.8M sq. ft. of community and commercial space (including schools, health centers, and grocery stores)
🌱 Support 285,700 people to improve their incomes, savings and long-term financial outlook

And we aren’t stopping there. We're thrilled to announce that State Farm is continuing its long-time commitment to our mission with a new $1.8M grant.
