City of Milwaukee Health Department WIC The MHD WIC Program provides nutrition education, breastfeeding support, healthy foods and referrals.

WIC supports breastfeeding in the following ways!
* Greater variety and quantity of WIC foods
* Certification up to the first year of the baby’s life
* Breastfeeding education and support provided by trained breastfeeding experts and peer counselors
* Assistance with obtaining a breast pump, if needed

HOURS:
Clinics are closed for most major holidays: New Years Day, MLK Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving day and the Friday after, observance or actual date of Christmas Eve Day, Christmas and New Years Eve Day. Clinics
