A change of scenery, fresh air, and wonderful company made for a lovely afternoon! Yesterday, our residents enjoyed a picnic at beautiful Bowers Mansion, soaking in the fall scenery, sharing stories, and enjoying plenty of laughter along the way.

Sometimes the best memories are made over a simple picnic, good conversation, and time spent together!

There’s nothing quite like a visit from a four-legged friend to brighten the day! We were thrilled to welcome Barely the therapy dog back to The Valage today. From gentle pets to wagging tails and plenty of smiles, Barely brought a little extra happiness to our community. We always look forward to these special visits and the joy they bring to our residents!

☕🚔 2nd Annual National Coffee with a Cop Day was a HUGE success! 🚔☕

We were SO excited to see so many deputies and sheriffs stop by to enjoy some coffee, conversation, and good times with our residents! ❤️

A BIG thank-you to all of our local law enforcement for continuing to support the Valage, spend time with our residents, and be such an important part of our community. We truly appreciate everything you do! 👏🏼💙
There were plenty of smiles, laughs, coffee, and great conversations all around! ☕😊

Our residents enjoyed an afternoon out at the Young at Hearts fundraiser, where they got to take in The Beatles Flashback concert and spend some time together in the community.

The music brought back plenty of familiar favorites, and it was fun seeing everyone sing along, tap their feet, and enjoy a little nostalgia while supporting such a great local cause.

What an incredible evening! 🎉

We were honored to host the Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce for a wonderful Chamber Mix & Mingle. The event was a huge success, and it wouldn't have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our amazing staff, who came together to create a truly memorable experience.

Residents and guests enjoyed a delicious menu including beef tenderloin, prime rib, salmon, green beans, carrots, mushrooms, potatoes, and an unforgettable dessert table. Most importantly, everyone enjoyed great food, great company, and meaningful connections.

A heartfelt thank you to our Regional Culinary Specialist, Erik, for coming out to support our community and help make the evening so special. We appreciate all who attended and look forward to the next opportunity to gather together!

Today’s project started with plain wooden frames and ended with four completely different little works of art. With patterned paper, a little Mod Podge, and plenty of creativity, our residents gave each frame its own personality. Now all they need is the perfect photo to finish them off.

We had such a fun time at the Bonanza Kennel Club dog show today!

It was a wonderful afternoon spent checking out so many incredible dog breeds represented. From tiny pups to some truly impressive show dogs, there was plenty to see and enjoy!

We loved getting out into the community for a little dog-filled adventure.
