We’re just one day away from another wonderful evening - Scene It! Trunk or Treat at your Webster Parish Libraries Minden Branch!

Step onto the red carpet and get ready for a blockbuster night of fun, creativity, and community spirit!
To help everyone enjoy a safe and wonderful experience, please keep these reminders in mind:
For All Attendees:
▪ Library staff will be easy to spot in Webster Parish Libraries t-shirts. Show your child our logo ahead of time so they know who to approach if separated.
▪ Parking may be limited — please avoid blocking driveways, trapping vehicles, or using fire lanes/emergency areas. Vehicles in violation may be towed at the owner’s expense.
▪Be kind to our hardworking library staff. They’re here to help and ensure everyone has a safe, enjoyable event. Disrespectful behavior from participants will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal.
For Trunk Participants:
▪ Arrive and check in between 12:30PM and 4:45PM. All vehicles must be onsite no later than 4:45PM—no exceptions. Barriers will be installed at 4:45PM and will not be removed for late arrivals. The event begins at 5:30PM.
▪ Parking: Only the designated trunk vehicle is allowed in the lot during setup after 4:15 PM. Keep all decorations and materials contained within that vehicle.
▪ A maximum of six representatives per trunk may participate at a time to ensure space and comfort for all.
▪ All trunks must be registered in advance. Unregistered participants will not be allowed to set up on event day.
▪ Electricity: No electrical outlets are available in trunk spaces.
▪ Review the event map before arriving. Each trunk will be assigned a numbered space (numbers only, no business names on signage).
▪ Provide sealed, individually wrapped treats (minimum 2,000 pieces) to ensure every child receives a treat. Businesses and organizations may distribute information, but participants should keep the line moving so everyone can enjoy the event.
