💙 "Minden’s Finest" – Keeping Our Community Safe Together 💙
The Minden Police Department wants to remind our community about “Minden’s Finest”, our ongoing program dedicated to better serving and protecting special needs individuals across our city.
Whether you’re new to the area or have been meaning to sign up, we want to make sure every family who can benefit from this initiative is enrolled.
Why "Minden’s Finest"?
Designed to bridge communication gaps during emergencies, this program ensures that our officers and dispatchers have vital context before they arrive on the scene of a call for service or traffic stop.
Program Highlights:
Discreet Safety Alerts: Enrolled participants receive two free identifying stickers—one for the home and one for a primary vehicle—to quickly alert responding public safety personnel.
CAD Integration: Participant details and specific special needs are securely integrated into our Records Management System (RMS) and Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems.
Completely Free: There is no cost to apply or participate.
Simple Enrollment: Just complete the application, obtain a physician’s signature (note: no medical diagnostic paperwork is collected), and drop it off at the Minden Police Department with any officer or employee.
