Halloween weekend was a full one, from trick-or-treating to the 123rd Old Settlers Reunion in Quitman. Next up: art, w**e, and music take over downtown Winnsboro this Friday and Saturday.

Happy Halloween, Wood County!

The Old Settlers Reunion is underway at Jim Hogg Park in Quitman. Come fill your day with fun!

The Monster Mash Dash 5K starts at 8:30 AM, the quilt show opens at 10 AM, and church bands play from 5 PM to 7 PM, wrapping the day up at 8 PM.

Sunday brings the carnival and a free kids' midway from 11 AM to 7 PM.

Don't miss Halloween night at Red Rooster IceHouse in Hawkins!

The Halloween Costume Party kicks off at 7:30 PM Saturday with live music from Christopher Wright. All ages are welcome to come out and join the fun.

Halloween weekend in Wood County!

Saturday brings the Old Settlers Reunion to Quitman (5K at 8:30 AM, quilt show, food trucks, church bands) and Downtown Trick-or-Treat in Winnsboro from 5 PM to 7 PM. Co**se Grove haunted trail in Hawkins is open tonight and all weekend.

🦶🌿 Have you spotted Bigfoot at the Arboretum yet?

As part of this weekend’s Wood County Old Settlers Reunion festivities, join us Saturday, October 31, at 10 AM for a ribbon cutting celebrating the Bigfoot artwork featured along the nature trail at the Wood County Arboretum and Botanical Gardens!

This unique project brings art, history, and nature together through an art history walk featuring Bigfoot as its subject. Come celebrate this creative addition to the trail and discover the artwork for yourself!
